Reality Breach

Reality Breach is a puzzle game that tasks the player with the objective to open breaches to other realities and synchronously walk across multiple planes so they may find their associated anomalies causing the Breaches and close them. 

Keep a close eye on all opened realities or suffer the consequences.

Each breach features a different environment with sound effects and The game gradually gets harder opening more breaches as you progress.

There are 2 builds for you to download and play that are the same aesthetically, however exhibit far different experiences as each tests a different approach on how the player may complete the levels.

Build 3 (Unaligned mechanic) - is closer to my desired result, but is harder and less forgiving as the characters in the multiple realities gradually become unaligned, forcing the player to get creative if they expect to keep their lives longer.

Build 4 (Pawns reset) - is an easier experience that resets all of the pawns back to the centre when reaching each goal. this is less like my desired outcome, however flows smoother and will be less frustrating.

  

This is the 1st/4 experimental prototypes that I have developed for a class assessment, 3 weeks each prototype.
The Brief I was tasked with was to design and prototype an experimental game that exhibits the theme of Changing Seasons through simple interaction. That also exhibits fantasy, exploration, and replay ability.

In its current state this one has not turned out quite to plan, I will need to spend more time on its systems to refine a better game loop.
